I would like to add my wife to the title of a home I purchased before we were married. There is no lien on the property.
Are there different levels of ownership sharing that can be declared?
Does this call for a quitclaim deed or a warranty deed?

Hi CupaJoe,
As you want to add your wife to property deed, you can use a quitclaim deed. You can decide upon how much share of property you want to give her and accordingly write it in the quitclaim deed. You can consult an attorney to draft the deed for you but sample quitclaim deed forms are also available online.
Thanks
