hello,
my husband and I purchased his mother's house recently. We want to use a quit claim to transfer the deed of the property because there is no mortgage involved. Can we omit the amount of purchase? Is it ok to put no amount instead of a small amount, in case we want to sell the house in the future, so it doesn't look as if we purchased the house for $100?
thank you

Hi nickyvb!
Welcome to forums!
As the property is free and clear, you can use a warranty deed in order to get the property transferred in your name. As far as I know, you would be able to mention a small amount while you fill out the deed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
