the quick deed is a drainage pond the grantor ( a developer) quick deeded the pond to the home association (the grantee). the grantor had previously been given notices to clean up the pond. now the association has a bill for 3,400.00. does the home association have a alternative?
Hi bernie!
Welcome to forums!
The home association can contact the grantor (the developer) and request the person to clean the pond and pay off the bill. However, as the property is transferred to the home association, the onus lies on the association to pay off the dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
