i have question regarding quit claim deed, if two people owns the home & 2 nd person signs the quit cliam deed to the first person; & aftrer signin quit claim deed if person files bank ruptcy , can bank can take the home?
even the mortage payments are current?

signing a quit claim deed just before filing bankruptcy will be considered as fraudulent by the trustee. in that case, he can bring back the property in the bankruptcy estate. after the quit claim deed is signed, the person should wait for about an year and then file bankruptcy.
