If the husband quit claims a property to his wife, and the wife files bankruptcy, does this affect the husband and the husband's credit?
Quitclaim does transfer the mortgage. It only transfers the property. So the husband is still responsible for the home loan if the wife do not take the mortgage responsibilities on her name by refinancing the mortgage.
So has the wife refinanced the loan to take the mortgage responsibilities on her name?

Hi Nikki,
Welcome to the forum.
I have to agree with Johnny that if the wife take over the mortgage responsibilities after the husband quitclaims the property to her, he/the husband will still be responsible for the mortgage. And as the wife has filed BK it may affect the husband's credit also.
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Best of luck,
Larry
