my ex wife is filing bankruptcy. i signed a quit claim deed.will mortgage com. come after me?...i signed the quitclaim deed when we got divorced. ex was suppossed to refi in 2 years. she did not. she is filing bankrupcy. will i be held responsible for the mortgage? can i do anything about the fact that she did not refi in the time frame given to her by the courts?

first, let me ask you whether you are on the mortgage. If your name doesn't appear on the mortgage, you won't be held responsible for it. But if you are on the mortgage then they might come after you. You can consult an attorney whether you can take any legal action against her for not having refinanced in the time frame given by the court.
