Quitclaim deed

Posted on: 08th Feb, 2011 11:26 am
i am going to file bankruptcy and in the beginning of 2010 my sister quit claimed her property to me to pass on to my daughter. i have not done this yet because my sister owed back property taxes on this property. i have not been able to pay the taxes because of my own situation. i did not realize the taxes were three years behind and the property is now going to go into foreclosure if the 2008 taxes are not paid by june of 2011. i want to quitclaim the property back to my sister so she can take care of the taxes before she gives the property to my daughter. can i do this before filing bankruptcy without any adverse reactions?

regards,

jeri
