I have a quick claim deed that transfer property to me and my brother. My brother is now deceased does this give me sole ownership of the deed?
If you complete the affidavid of death, and take that to be recorded at your county, that will remove the deceased party from title.

I agree with Chris. If there are no other heirs, then you can file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. You can contact a real estate attorney and he will help you in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
