my husband and i r currently buying a condo from this lady. appartently she cannot complete the sale because her husband(from prison for life), refuses to sign a quit claim deed. she was awarded the property in court @ her divorce and she needs that quit clain signed. court is in 1 week and do you think the judge will award her rights to sell the property to us???

If the lady's divorce decree states that the property belongs to her, then the husband needs to sign the deed. If he does not do so, it will be considered as contempt of court. As far as I can understand, there are high chances that the court will award her rights to sell the property.
