My husband and his sister now own a home together left by their deceased mother via the lady bird deed.
Is a quitclaim deed what is needed to remove his sister's name from the property, as we are going to buy her half.
Thanks.

Hi vicky!
Welcome to forums!
If you are buying her portion of the property, i.e, if there is a money exchange in the process of transfer, it will be better if you can go in for a warranty deed. I think that will be a better option in your case.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
