I am divorced & quick claim deeded house to exwife. Can I file bankrupcy and get my name off mortgage

you can ask your wife to refinance the mortgage in her name so that you're released from the liability of paying off the mortgage. in case she doesn't refinance, you can file bankruptcy and get a discharge from the mortgage payments.
