my husband and i divorced two years and we owned the property we lived in as husband and wife. we have this property up for sale. i recently remarried and want to know if i can use a quit claim deed to change my name on the deed to my new married name. how would i word that?
Welcome Denise.
I don't think there is any need to use a quitclaim deed. You just wish to change your name on the deed to your new married name. So inform the county recorder's office your new married name they will help you to change the name. If it doesn't help then you can take help from an attorney.
Let me know if you have further queries.

Why bother? Wait until the property sells, and there will be no issue.
