I changed my last name using the court process. I've heard that I need to change the name with my property to ensure ownership. I was told to fill out a Quick Claim deed for the State of Colorado. (I actually live in Denver County)
Looking on the site, I see Quit & Quick claim deeds. Is there a difference?
What form should I use?
Help?

Hi jjjjj,
There is no difference between quitclaim deeds and quick claim deeds. Quitclaim deeds are sometimes mis-spelt as quick claim deeds. You should contact a real estate attorney and he/she will be able to draft the deed for you.
Thanks

I will find a real estate attorney and do just that.
Thank you,
