quit claim deed

i have been divorced and now remarried. my ex husband and i both had to file bankruptcy but i reaffirmed the house and he surrendered the house. there was never a quit claim deed signed. i really want the house out of his name completely. i want my husband nows name on the house. what can i do?
Hi dontammaloney,

It would have been better if your ex-husband would have signed the quitclaim deed when he surrendered the property. You will have to request him to sign a quitclaim deed in your name so that his name is removed from the property.

Thanks
