Quit claim deed

my husband and i are separating and he is leaving the house. his credit is terrible and he owes many people. his name is on the deed but not the loan. if i get him to sign a quit claim deed will this keep his debtors from coming after or putting a lien on the house?
Hi Guest,

I don't think a quitclaim now can save him from the debtors. Any transfer at this point in time would be considered as fraudulent conveyance and the debtors will have the right to sue him and reverse the deed.
