my ex-wife is asking that i sign a quick deed at the county auditors office.
when i contacted the auditors office they claim there is no such thing as a quick deed only the quit claim deed.
is there such a thing as a quick deed and how would it help her pay our some of our childrens college tuition?

Hi,
It is only the quit claim deed that is available and it is commonly miss-spelt as quick deed.
If you sign a quit claim it will transfer your share of the property to your ex-wife and she will have the ownership.

Hi Beltsall,
Michel is right. There is nothing as quick claim deed. Some people misspell it as quick claim deed. Through quitclaim deed you can transfer your property to your ex-wife. You need to sign the deed as a grantor and your wife will be grantee. To make the deed valid, it should be signed by the notary officials and then recorded in the County recorder office.
