Quit Claim Deed

hi, i left an offer on a condo with an assignable contract, but the bank doesnt accept that, so the real estate agent told me to buy it on my name and after that do a quit claim deed to my corporation... would i have to pay any taxes for the deed..?? because i was told that foreigners have a tax retencion on selling properties (i am from abroad) thanks alot!
I do notthinkl there is any sucha law
