Can a quit claim be contested?
Hi,
I think the grantor may contest the quit claim on grounds of fraud - like he was forced to sign or he never signed at all and it was duplicated.

Yes, a quitclaim deed can be contested but for that you need to take help from an attorney so that he can formulate a legal case. And, Michel's
right - quitclaim deeds can be contested on grounds of frauds and forgery and the like.

i would like to quit claim deed a home i own ohio to my daughter who is in ohio because i live in another state, will she have the power to claim the property if something were to happen to me. would she have the power of ownership. or what can i do to give her that power. i dont want her to have to spend any money. thanks
Hello Kathy,
With rights of survivorship mentioned in the quit claim deed, your daughter will automatically get the property.
You can also make a will and name her as the beneficiary.
