The mortgage company would allow my daughter to be on the deed without her being responsible for mortgage payments?

hi debie,
you can add your daughter's name to the property by using a quit claim deed. simply adding her name to the property deed won't make her responsible for the mortgage. however, there is a chance that the lender can ask you and your daughter to refinance the loan. this will make her responsible for the loan.
