My mother is deceased and my dad wants to add my name to his deed. The home is paid for. How can i go about this with the least amount of trouble?
Hi mjo,
To add you to the title of the property, your father needs to sign a quitclaim deed as a grantor, transferring a part of his property ownership to you. The deed then needs to be notarized and recorded with the county recorder's office to make it legally valid.

Hi
Adding you to the title with least amount of trouble is possible through a quitclaim deed as mentioned by Alessandro.
