Hi, my husband and I want to quick claim deed to included my daughter on our deed. This would be my husband, myself and my daughter. If she is sued in the future can they put a lein on our house? We would retain our homestead on myself and my husdand.
Thats true if she gets sued and her name is on the property then they can come afetr your house
Hi sherry,
Your daughter would be one of the owners of the property once you add her to the property deed. In that case, if the creditors sue her for her dues, they would be able to place a lien on this property.
Thanks
