Quit claim deed expiration

Posted on: 08th Jun, 2010 08:20 pm
Is there a period of time between the quit claim is signed by the Grantor and the date is recorded in court. I got divorced a while ago but I haven't be able to pay the property taxes once the quit claim is recorded. I was told this amount is calculated based on the $ you own to the bank.
