prior to filing for divorce, my ex-wife forged my signature in a notery public book. obviously the notery was involved with this.
not sure where you wanted this to go, joey, but you will need to make your case in whatever court or other venue you take it to.

If the signature is forged, then the Deed is a forgery and not valid but you would have to prove it in Court

Hi my soon to be ex did the same thing, but then refinanced the house several times (while still married) The debt is so high since he forged the mortgage and took out the loans, is there anyway to combat that since I never signed them and was still married to him.

Hi Amy,

Forging signatures is illegal and if your ex has done so, then you need to take legal steps in order to safeguard your interests. You will have to contact an attorney in this regard who will let you know what steps you need to take.

Thanks

my name was signed and witnessed by a notary on a quick claim deed and it was not my signature, My last name was misspelled throughout the deed. the signature at the bottom was spelled properly but the printed name below was not. loan was borrowed on tne property and then assiggned to someone else. Also the witnesses witnessed this forged signature. What is the criminal rule or his ...I do have a lawyer.

Welcome tho,

I guess some kind of fraud has taken place during the transfer of the property. You should speak to your real estate attorney and try to sue those who have tried to scam you.
