There are 5 children in my family who have interest in my Dad's house. The other 4 are unable to take care of the house financially. They are going to sign a quick claim deed over to me. Are there instructions anywhere on how the deed needs to be written?
Hi robertwilliamhill,
A quitclaim deed is a very good option transfer one's share of property-interest to another. How the deed would be written depends on an individual's need. The language of the deed changes with changing situation and circumstances. Though there are sites that offer you quitclaim forms, I would suggest you to get it prepared by an attorney to avoid any dispute that might arise out of it in future.
