How legal is a quick claim deed and can family members claim any rights
Can other family members go to court and reverse the decision
can other family members go to court and have decision reversed
Hi!
Welcome to forums!
To raggetyann,
If a quitclaim deed is notarized and recorded in the county recorder's office, then it is considered as legal and valid. If the family members are a grantee to the property, then they can definitely claim interests in that property.
To ann brown,
A quitclaim deed can be reversed provided the person doing so will have to prove the reason for reversing the quitclaim deed. If the person reversing the quitclaim deed can prove that he/she was made to transfer the property under a false pretense, then the court will take steps to reverse the deed.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
