my ex-husband is on the mortgage and mine is on the property deed. i am paying the mortgage. the bank stated i could not have him taken off the mortgage due to my low income. can i do a quit claim deed without the bank's permission as long as i pay the mortgage. i want to disconnect him from the house, he is not paying anything and is willing to sign off.

are you regarding to refinance mortgage on your name so you can disconnect your husband from house. refinance mortgage on your name then you will be responsible for making loan payments but before that you have to qualify for the refinancing mortgage.
