Deeding over the property to father

Posted on: 17th Aug, 2008 02:16 pm
We have a situation where the sons whom are 21 twins have lived in Germany for over 15 years with their grandparents and are estranged from their father. The house the father has been paying for all of these years since the mother died in 1986 and the house was purchased in 1985 both the mother and the children were listed when the house were purchased.

The father has paid for this house all of this time (up until now) and recently moved into the house as of 2007 but now has to sell it and was notified that the he has to have the two sons sign over the house to the him.

If they don't sign, how can the father go about selling the home since he already has a buyer for the house and it is under contract?
Thank you,
Welcome Anna257.

You need to have your sons signature to sell the property as they are also on the deed. So contact then and get they signature so that you can sell the property. Arent the sons willing to sign the property to you? Have you contacted with any attorney?

The sons are angry with the father and possilbly will not sign. I wanted to know if there is any other route to take besides the attorney process.
Thanks
