My mother made a quitclaim deed to me in New York City. My mother has since deceased. I just found out the quitclaim deed has been recorded wrong. How can this be reversed?
Welcome Caral,
You should immediately contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. It may not be possible for you to get the deed reversed as your mother is deceased now.

Hi Caral!
Welcome to the forums!
Yes, it is true that as your mother is deceased, you won't be able to get the deed reversed. If the property is still in your mother's name, then you will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
