i went into mobile home dealers lot in feb to buy a home. i had 2 acres (paid off) to use as down payment on the new home. i also needed some money to pay off some debts that would allow me to afford the monthly payment on the home. i was told to go to an attorney and sign a quit deed so land and home could be deeded as one. now (in sept.) the dealer is saying he can get financing for the purchase price of the home. i told him without the cash out i couldn't afford the payments. he told me if i refused to close he could evict me and sell the home and property. (new home is already set up on land)
Hi BHS,
Welcome to forums.
A quitclaim deed can be reversed only if the grantor is willing to deed back property. I hope you haven't signed any commitment letter as such. Are you staying the property now? If not, then he can't evict you. Or you mean he'll go on with the contract to someone else?
Know how to file for a reversal of quitclaim deed .
Thanks
