Does a quick claim deed need to be in an individual's name for 2 years as it will not be considered fraudulent.
hi berice,
i haven't heard of any such rule that the quit claim deed has to remain in an individual's name for 2 years in order to consider it valid. once the property is transferred through a quit claim deed and the deed is recorded at the county recorder's office, the grantee will be considered as the legal owner of the property.
thanks
