Posted on: 26th Mar, 2009 07:21 am
my son lives in indiana and i live in arizona. he wants to quit claim deed the property he owns in indiana to me. besides the form that needs to be completed and does these forms need both signatures verified (notarized) and does this need to be personally delivered to the recorders office or can it be sent.
These forms must be notarized and they should be able to be sent to the county clerk office in which the county they should be filed.

I hope this helps =)

Hi

The quitclaim deed must be notarized and recorded with the county clerk's office to be considered valid. It needs to be notarized and recorded in the state where the property is located. Moreover, you might also require a few other witnesses to sign the deed, depending on the laws of that particular state.
