How long is a quitclaim deed good if it is signed but not recorded
Linda,

As far as I knwo, it does nto haev any expiration date.

Recordign is not a must, but it isa good practise.

Good luck and feel free to ask.

Hi Linda,

As far as I know, a quitclaim deed will not be considered valid if it is not recorded. You should immediately record the deed at the county recorder's office.

Adonis thats not correct. It is not necessary to record it, but it is safer to do so in the logn run.

Hi Mireya,

Deeds can get expired if they are not notarized and filed. You can contact a real estate attorney of your state and he would let you know about the expiration of the quitclaim deed.

Thanks
