Hello,
My grandfather just passed away and about 6 months ago he signed a quit claim over to my name regarding the deed to his home. There is no will.
Now my uncle has become very interested in the house after not being around for decades.
Does the quit claim give automatic transfer or does it still go through probate.
I am in Colorado.

As your grandfather had transferred the property to you with the help of a quitclaim deed, you are the owner of the property. The quitclaim deed will not have to pass through any kind of probate.
