In order for a Quik Claim Deed to be valid is there a different form for each state? Is the form standardized so that you can fill out a free downloaded form or do you have to get the form for your particular state?

I am in the state of Oklahoma. Does OK have any other specific requirements?

Hi DeborahMiller,

Welcome back.

You should have a quitclaim deed form which is approved by your state and the deed needs to be notarized and recorded in the Recorder's office in your state. Know how to make a quitclaim deed valid at http://www.mortgagefit.com/quitclaim-deed.html

Best of luck,
Larry
