My husband and I are going through a divorce. He quit claimed the house and business to me. The divorce will be final very soon, could he be successful? It's all been notorized and filed.
hans, are you trying to now whethre the quitclaim will be successful just because you are going through a divorce? well, has your husband claimed any part of the property being in divorce? If that is not been done, then the quitclaim will be effective once it is recorded at the County Recorder's office.
Hi,
Welcome to this forum.
Are you asking about whether or not your husband can reverse the quitclaim to his name after signing the quitclaim deed and transferring the property to your name? Now if so then it is not possible without the grantee's signature that means your signature. Because you have said that the deed is notarized and recorded in the county recorder office. So if the grantor wants the property back, then he has to prove that the deed is not valid or if the grantee quitclaims and transfer the property back.
Thanks,
Larry
