Quit Claim Deed

My husban and I are divorcing, I want him to keep the house. Will this be appropriate form to fill out. I don't want my credit involved and I want my name off of the deed?
Hi Angi,

You will have to sign a quitclaim deed in order to transfer your share of the property to your husband. However, he will have to refinance the mortgage if your name is mentioned on the mortgage docs as a borrower. Unless he does so, you will remain liable for the mortgage.
