transfer sum / statement quitclaim deed

Posted on: 01st Nov, 2008 02:47 pm
When doing a transfer via quitclaim deed you can put on the paperwork the transfer sum being:
One Dollar and love and affection..
In the case of a divorce/separation, then terms of love
and affection may not be appropriate. What would be an appropriate statment.. Thanks Naomi
Hi oligney!

Welcome to the forums!

I would suggest you to consult a divorce lawyer who will help you in drafting the quitclaim deed during divorce. The lawyer will be knowing the legal terms and concepts and will be able to help you in a better way.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
