Quit Claim and difficult ex

Posted on: 07th Oct, 2013 09:38 am
My ex doesn't approve of where i a moving to. If he signed a quit claim deed do i actually need him to sign off on the selling of my house?
Hi Guest!

Welcome to the forums!

If your ex has already signed the quitclaim deed and transferred the property to you, then you will be considered the sole owner of the property. In such a situation, you do not need to take his signatures when you will be selling the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Guest,

Once you become the owner of the property, you won't have to take anyone's permission to sell off the property.

Thanks
