how to get back

Posted on: 23rd Jun, 2010 07:22 pm
i had to quick claim my first home to my now ex husband in order to purchase the home i had to buy to live in. i now need to move back into that home as my new home is going into foreclosure. i am the only one on the note to the bank. but i am no longer on the deed. can i just kick him out???
No you cannot kick him out, it's not your house anymore. You are responsible for paying for it, but have no ownership rights. It's also interesting that you think you can just default on your obligations at will. Life does not work that way. You are already defaulting on your contract with your lender, and now you are trying to reverse on a quit claim and visit your misery on others? What a true shame!
