My exwife does not want to sign the quick deed claim. She remarried and has not lived in t he mobile house for 8yrs. she had her own family and years ago I bought her out by giving her 3000 dollars but we did not sign anything about it since we where in friendship terms. Now I have a fiance and she will not sign it. On the original divorce paper work I have given her the mobile home but since them we settled it on our own, although I did not keep recipe of the 3000 dollar payoff nor sign paper work. What can I do now? how do I get her off the deed legaly if she does not want to sign it over?

Hi ferretlvr!
Welcome to forums!
There is hardly anything that you can do now. You should have asked her to sign the quitclaim deed when you made the payments and should have got the property transferred in your name. You cannot force her to sign the property deed as it will be considered as illegal. Nevertheless, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Mobile homes are not real estate, so a real estate attorney might not have the proper expertise in this case. Nevertheless, you certainly ought to seriously consider getting legal assistance in this situation.
I think your change of heart subsequent to the divorce action may prevent you from accomplishing what you're trying to do; but that's simply my opinion. In order to make a clear determination of what needs to be done to achieve your goal, speaking with a lawyer is the best thing you can do at this point.
