How does a quit claim effect a situation such as mine. My farther passed without a will but has two legal kids but he was unmarried when he died. He has siblings so who would have the total rights to his estate?

Since your father left no will, the proeprty will be distributed to all the legal descendants in accordance with the intestate successsion law. For this you need to file an affidavit of heirship with a probate court. For a similar discussion refer to the following page:
