Iwant to sale a peice of property that my father and I bought as 1/2 partnership. My father passed away a few years ago. how or can I do a quitclaim deed?

as your father is deceased, you cannot go for a quit claim deed to transfer the property in your name. rather, you'll have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. then, you can sell off the property.
