i am 63 years old and have filed a quit claim deed with a life estate to my sister. i no longer want her to have my property and would like to know if a filed will will supersede this quit claim deed?

As far as I know, the will won't supersede the quitclaim deed as the deed will come into affect during your lifetime whereas the will goes into affect the death of the grantor. As far as I know, your sister will have to sign a deed and give away her life time rights to that property. For better assistance in this regard, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
