the quit claim deed was done 12 years ago
since it is a old case, consult attorney.
in general, it has to be signed by grantor & witness. Then, The deed is recorded at the land records office in the county where your property is located

Hi giigii,
Is the deed notarized? You will have to notarize the deed first and then record it at the county recorder's office. However, it would have been better if you could have notarized the deed and recorded it earlier.
Thanks
