can a quit claim deed be filled in by hand as oppossed to typing it as long as it is signed, witnessed and notarized?
Hi teresajrunkles,
I don't think filling the deed form out by hand as opposed to typing it will make any difference as long as the deed is properly signed, notarized, witnessed and recorded with county clerks office. However, typing will make the writings much more legible, and thus can avoid any potential dispute arising out of it in future.
