What if I am forced to sign a quit claim deed

Posted on: 24th Aug, 2010 04:30 pm
my soon to be ex husband and his brothers own a building and have never wanted any of the wives to have ownership to the building. every time they get a loan on the building i am forced to sign the quit claim deed or am threatened that my husband will not get any monies from the other two brothers. i also have a letter from one brother stated the above. how can i prove this was done under duress and can i get it reversed?
Hi puertorican,

If anyone is forcing you to sign a quit claim deed, then it will be considered as a fraudulent act. You should contact a real estate attorney in this regard along with the proof that you have and take legal actions against the concerned persons.

Thanks
