My boyfriend was in a previous relationship where him and his ex bought a house they are not married but both names are on the mortgage. My bf has been paying the mortgage and utilities since may and has not lived there since February of 2009 how do we get her out of the house and off the mortgage?

your boyfriend's ex-partner will have to transfer the property to him by using a quitclaim deed and your boyfriend needs to refinance the mortgage in his name. once all this is done, your boyfriend will become the sole owner of the property and will be solely responsible for the mortgage.
