getting grantee off quit claim?

Posted on: 02nd Oct, 2010 12:24 pm
My mother quit claimed a secondary residence to myself and two other siblings. She also has a living trust with the property. One of the sibs cannot pay bills on time and has generally caused alot of grief with the joint ownership. Is there any way to get him off of the quit claim? He owes others alot of money (including our mother) and we don't see things getting any better. Our mother has been in a nursing home for the past 5+ years after suffering a stroke. Any advice would be appreciated. (the residence is in Wisconsin)
Welcome mjbky,

If you want to remove one of the siblings from the deed, then you will have to ask him or her to sign a quit claim deed in that regard.
