is it recommended to do a quit claim deed when a mature couple are marrying so that the grantee is guaranteed the property will pass to that individual without probate?
thank you.
thank you.
Hi michelle,
A married couple can sign a quit claim deed and add each other's name to the property deed. This will make them the owner of the property and will help them in avoiding probate in case of death of one of the spouses.
Thanks
