Is the grantee on quit claim transferring property into a revocable trust: "The revocable trust of Jon Smith" or "Jon Smith trustee for the revocable trust of Jon Smith"?
Hi mspenelope,
I think the grantee on the quitclaim deed should be "Jon Smith trustee for the revocable trust of Jon Smith". This is what normally is written when a property is quitclaimed to a living trust. However, you should check with a lawyer whether it is the correct wording to be used in your situation.
